A couple of L's

Linda who sews away at home and then surprises us when she brings in what she has been up to!  And Lesley who produces gorgeous work for our delectation and often as gifts for some very fortunate people...

Lesley's beautiful quilt for aforementioned fortunate couple.  Very difficult to see the quilting on it - she put a lot of thought into each motif.  Further down there are some pics of the back in which you might be able to see a little more of the quilting.  A lovely piece

Linda appeared with these one evening and spent most of it (with various helpers?) moving the flowers around until it was to her satisfaction.  It is really quite difficult to avoid similar fabrics and some colours jump out more than others.  However, it was finally done, each block and row labelled and taken home to sew up.  Looking forward to seeing the finished article.
