| Seminole piecing |
 |
| Seminole piecing is I think one of the few techniques devised for a machine from the beginning. The Seminole Indians in Florida's Everglades used this technique for clothing but it can be used on quilts, cushions, bags, belts. It is a strip piecing technique whereby the pattern is gained by judicious cutting. | Rosemary is very good at these little quilts. The quilting around the hearts really makes them puff up and gives a lovely design on the back as well |
